Nestled amidst the rugged beauty of Derby, Lot 40 is a gathering place for mountain bikers, families, beer, gin and live music enthusiasts. With a distillery and micro-brewery on-site, we can offer heaps of accessible indoor and outdoor space, a private function room, a cafe and a dog-friendly welcome.

Trail Builders Bar

The place to be where locals and visitors converge. Our bar facilities are designed for comfort and camaraderie. Live music is a regular addition with an outdoor Tom Cosic mural celebrating the world’s finest Trail Shapers a showstopper on the riverside balcony.

Tin Valley Brewery – On-Tap Craft Beer

Beer enthusiasts rejoice! Our taps flow with a rotating selection of Tin Valley Brewery creations. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill beers; they’re small-batch, artisanal brews made right here on-site. Whether you prefer modern IPAs, smooth lagers, or more traditional sessional ales and porters, we’ve got something to tantalize your taste buds. And if you’re curious about the brewing process, just ask our friendly staff—they love sharing their passion.

Hungry after a day of mountain biking or exploring? Our kitchen has you covered. From breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we serve up hearty meals that complement our beverages. Snacks and freshly baked treats are also available.  Whether you’re refuelling or sharing a meal with family and friends, our menu is created by local chef Christina Mariyan.

We’re your last run of the day, serving beers and gins made on-site as well as a selection of Tasmanian beer and wine, food and great coffee.
